The Chinese numeral for 20, "贰拾 (niju)", is printed on the garment, and the smocking technique is used on that part.
Smocking is an embroidery technique in which pleats made in fabric are sewn together by hand to create a three-dimensional finish. This creates a shading effect on the flat surface of the T-shirt. The body is made of thick fabric, which means it is less likely to wrinkle and is extremely durable.
