Reebok×yoshiokubo
Reebok's first collaboration with yoshiokubo, a Japanese men's fashion brand garnering attention for its unique designs, sees the release of two iconic models, the "INSTAPUMP FURY" and "CLUB C." Both models incorporate traditional Japanese cultural elements, reflecting designer Yoshio Kubo's desire to inspire more people to become interested in Japan's proud, ancient culture. The most notable features are the "Reebok" inscription on the heel and the katakana calligraphy, which appears to have been written with ink and a brush, evoking calligraphy, a tradition and aesthetic of Japan and the East. Another key feature is the subtle inclusion of icons of Japanese culture, such as bonsai and family crests, which are beloved around the world these days.
