A new piece based on the theme of yoshiokubo's 2022/2023 Fall/Winter collection, "Squid Climbing," was created exclusively for this presentation.

Using the phrase "wind and fabric" as a starting point, this presentation attempts to sublimate the relationship between "wind," the flow of air, and "fabric," which receives it, into optimal beauty.

The fabric used is a water-repellent, high-density woven fabric made of extremely lightweight nylon or polyester.

The reason we use woven fabric is that even if it is high density, it will not be able to catch the wind in an optimal balance unless it allows a small amount of air to escape.

The silhouette was also approached differently from past creative endeavors, which may have resulted in something more dynamic.

Seven of the eight dresses produced this time will be digitized. Based on designs by "yoshiokubo," the digital fashion factory "X-couture" handled the production, digitizing the dresses using methods such as 3D modeling and photogrammetry, and assigning them NFTs (non-fungible tokens) to achieve an expression that can only be achieved digitally.

Some of the seven digital dresses are scheduled to go on sale from April 1st . The digital dress for "yoshiokubo" is sold by "X-couture Co., Ltd."
