yoshiokubo 20th Anniversary Limited T-shirt (SUNIL PAWER version)

This T-shirt features the cover art from a special book compiled to commemorate yoshiokubo's 20th anniversary.
The eye-catching designs were commissioned from five up-and-coming artists from around the world, selected by the editorial team of THE NEW ORDER magazine, a fashion culture magazine that covers a wide range of cultures from a unique perspective.

Artist introduction: SUNIL PAWER
A UK-based artist and art director, he creates works that fuse different fields such as sound systems and DJ culture.

SUNIL PAWER and yoshiokubo first met in 2011. "I've been a big fan of Yoshio's work ever since I first saw his collection," SUNIL PAWER said, commenting that this project is a perfect match.
Regarding this work, he explained, "When I create portraits, I try to portray my subjects as heroic and powerful. This time, I have used a traditional composition and expressed a classic sports pose with a frontal aesthetic. The title, '820', represents the average flight time from London to Tokyo."
