The yoshiokubo planning staff will be focusing on products from the Fall/Winter 2024 collection that they are particularly proud to recommend, and sharing with you "The appeal of Fall/Winter 2024 items seen from behind the scenes." Following on from the previous season, we have once again interviewed them about their appeal and key points this season.

-What item would you like to introduce?
3TUCK SLACKS

-Why did you choose 3TUCK SLACKS?
We wanted everyone to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the silhouette when they wear them.

-What's the first point?
It is made of stretchy fabric.
Normally, stretchy fabrics are made by mixing in a material called polyurethane, but these pants are made from a fabric called Solotex® , which is 100% polyester.
This is a relatively newly developed fabric, and its advantage is that it stretches less when heated and is more durable.
The fabric's structure means it has a strong tendency to return to its original shape, so it's less likely to wrinkle, which is a common problem with slacks. It also stretches freely to accommodate your movements, so it looks elegant but is actually incredibly comfortable to wear, which is another reason we recommend it.

The fabric used this time is double-folded, so it is thick and fluffy and can be worn comfortably even in cold seasons.

-What's the second point?
Above all, it's the shape.
Based on the simple and sophisticated shape of slacks that are usually worn as part of a set, these pants have a thick silhouette with three tucks added to the front to create a three-dimensional effect. When worn, the fit around the hips is similar to that of regular slacks, but when you walk, the overlapping tucked fabric moves, giving the silhouette a more three-dimensional look.

The front and back look like a standard pair of pants, but when you wear them you'll realize just how wide they are when you look at them from the side.

The impression you get from these pants changes depending on the angle you look at them from, so I think they truly embody the seasonal theme of the 2012 Fall/Winter collection, "Trick Play - Dazzling." These pants were designed with a focus on creating a beautiful silhouette and look, so they were made with a stretchy material for comfort, but the hems are finished with a Lewis hem. Lewis hems are a finishing method that hides the seams on the outer fabric, and are often used to finish the hems of slacks. This gives them a smooth, beautiful look.
