GEOMETRIC KNIT SHIRT

-Why did you choose GEOMETRIC KNIT SHIRT?
This is because the design incorporates yoshiokubo's specialty, "switching." The shirt features three different knit fabrics with linear switches, and the wool blend makes it very warm, so you can wear it a lot in the coming seasons.

-What's the first point?
The knit fabric is sewn together. During the planning stage, this shirt was born from the idea of ​​"What if we could express a change in the knit fabric?" To the extent that I can, I'll tell you the inside story...
When making a GEOMETRIC KNIT SHIRT, the yarn is first knitted into a bolt of fabric, which is then cut to create a garment.

Generally, when making knitted clothing, the yarn is knitted together to create the shape, so I think you can see that this alone is quite different.

-What's the second point?
To begin with, it is unlikely that a sewing factory that handles shirts would have the opportunity to sew knitted materials, so we can imagine that a request like this GEOMETRIC KNIT SHIRT was a rare case.

Furthermore, because the fabric is thick, it is three-dimensional and difficult to sew, and there is a possibility of uneven stitching. I'm sure there were other things that were "different from usual." I can only be grateful to the sewing factory workers who continue to make good products under such circumstances.
